The Rebels.

The Rebels are one of the best governments in the galaxy. The Guardians are power hungry and racist, the Coalition are puppets being worked by the Guardians and the Confederation are all stuck up. The Rebels however have a republican government and have no dictator or anything. They will also welcome anyone in though very few fleshies are among them. They control about half of the colonies but these colonies are mainly the poorest ones.
This guy is the main representative for the Rebels. He's sort of like their ambassador.

Here's a commander. They still carry an old six-shooter.

These are the DMR men. They're all crack shots.

These guys use the SAWs. All squads have at least one but most have two since the men like the extra firepower.

Here's a typical mechanic.

And here's a pilot/driver. I love that torso!

This is the only vehicle I've made so far. I got tried of waiting for my brother to build a vehicle for them so I just decided to do it myself I was trying to capture an old school Lego helicopter look.

Bounty hunters.

The reason I'm doing this right now instead of the other government is because I'm trying to give my brother some extra time to build something for them. Hey, he said he wanted to build their vehicles. Anyway here are are the most feared bounty hunters in the galaxy. They're sort of an organization led by this guy.
General W. as everyone calls him was a general for the Coalition until they kicked him out for remarks against the Guardians. He then set up a bounty hunter organization made up of the best of the best in the galaxy. His only holdover from the Coalition is that hand, part of an experimental exo-suit.

And here he is with his two  right hand men. Wait, TWO right hand men?

This guy's the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy. He killed a space police officer at the start of his career and has used the armor ever since. He has 293 kills to his name.

A random dude in a radar dish hat.

These four guys are a crack squad led by...

Otis. A top bounty hunter with a cybernetic hand. No idea why he doesn't get an eye.

And three more guys.

This robot is X-9 the leader of the robot contingent of the bounty hunters.

That is the (rule of cool here) lightsword here carries into battle.

And these are two of the robot bounty hunters. I had a couple of others but they disappeared.

Rebel assault on the Capitol.

This is a diorama I threw together yesterday just to showcase some hunger games minifigs I had. It's definitely not one of my better builds but it serves it's purpose.
There you go. I was originally going to pave the street in candy colored paving stones like in the book but it didn't happen. I tried to make the houses all candy colored as well but since houses are not my forte I didn't exactly succeed.

The rebel troopers have decided to make a tactical retreat because of the ever spreading pool of blood red acid.

And the unfortunate rebel who tripped the pod and who's body is quickly disintegrating in the flow.

Even though they are outnumbered two to one the peacekeepers are pushing the rebels back.

And my peacekeepers. That guy in the center doesn't have a visor because for some reason I could only find two black ones. So he voted to be the one to play dead.

And my rebels. I quite like these guys.

And the build without any figs. I'm really proud of all that bubbling acid.

Here's another picture of all that acid.

And hunger games minifigs. From left to right, Katniss in her mockingjay suit, Paylor leader of the rebels in District 8, Haymitch, and Gale in District 13 uniform.

The Guardians of Earth and Her Colonies.

So here we have just about the most racist government you could ask for. The Guardians. My brother pointed out that I could call them The Guardians of the Galaxy. Whatever. Anyhow, here you go.
Here's the leader of the Guardians along with two female officials and the Ambassador.

Since this is likely the only squad of troops I'll be able to put together I've decided to name them all, from left to right, Galileo, Zak, Smiley, Brutus, Dent and Jerry.

And these are the security guards. Does anyone else find the clone faces a little disturbing?

And this is the only new Guardian vehicle. The rest I've done posts of. This is just my mortar hovertank with new anti-personnel cannons and some small redesigns elsewhere.

The Confederation.

Here is my personal favorite government in the galaxy. They control about a sixth of the colonies in the galaxy and do not have the technology that the Guardians or the Coalition have. That being said they are still dangerous since they have the largest stash of nuclear weaponry.
Here's the leader of the Confederation, the leader of the army and his second in command, Milduu. My brother made up the name.

And here's the grunts, the groundpounders, the infantry, the dogfaces, the cannonfodder, whatever you want to call them. Even though their armor is nowhere near as sophisticated as the Guardians or the Coalition they have the best guns in the galaxy.

These guys are the pilots and drivers.

And this guys the maintenance worker.

The Confederations main jeep. It can hold several different weapon systems including...

The Viking Long Range Nuclear Missile Launcher! Overkill I know but it's weapons like this that keep the Guardians at bay.

And the all-suffering transport.

And this beast is their pillbox of a APC.

And here it is with the turret removed for low profile on stealth missions.

The Coalition.

The Coalition is part of a sci-fi universe me and my brother set up. A while into the future (naturally) earth started colonizing other planets in the solar system. Foreseeing problems they created The Guardians of Earth's Colonies or the Guardians for short. These guys quickly took control of Earth and changed their name to The Guardians of Earth and Her Colonies. They put up new laws that restricted yellow skinned minifigs privileges and made flesh colored minifigs the elite of the galaxy, in fact no yellow skinned minifig can be a Guardian. Anyhow, several of the colonies quickly revolted and formed the Confederation, another major power in the galaxy. Soon after, a large number of the outer colonies also revolted, with the help of the Confederation, and became the largest and poorest power in the galaxy. Worried by this the Guardians formed the Coalition, a peacekeeper government that is separate from the Guardians officially, but is really controlled by the Guardians. Their function is as researchers and as a government that loos like it's allowing the colonies more power than they actually have. They are one of the most technologically advanced governments but they wield the least power in the galaxy.
Here you see the leader of the Coalition with one of his bodyguards and the Captain of the Guard. Behind you can just see his adviser. The leader is a yellowy to fit in with the Coalition's image as being for the common man.

A group of technicians and a scientist plus a service droid.

A squad of troops. The normal soldier is trained as a pilot, driver, mechanic and medic. They normally carry the most widely used SMG in the galaxy, a type 3, but all squads have a type 2 flamethrower/LMG. With a flick of a switch this weapon can go from a flamethrower to a 50. cal. machine gun although the ammo supply for either is limited due to the size. Commanders usually carry some form of machine pistol.

Here you can see their main vehicles, two Rhino's and a motorcycle. They're the only Coalition vehicles we have. I was photographing these against a white background and I was like, "How come none of the details are showing up?" I'm slightly stupid as you can tell.

And here's the redesign of the Rhino that allowed me and my brother to build two of them.

Pick a Brick.

My brick collection isn't what anyone would call large. I get about 35% of my bricks from sets and the rest I get from our local flea market. Theirs a guy there who sells Lego. He's got a lot of selection. He has a page on Facebook that wold be worth checking just to see what he has, it's CopiousCollectibles. Anyhow, because my brick collection doesn't ever get a bulk order I was excited on Saturday to be able to go to a Lego store and get some Pick a Brick. I got a large and a small bucket and here's what I got in each.

           Large Bucket                                                                                   Small bucket
3 horses                                                                                       11 1x4 white fences
1 4x4 light green plate                                                                113 grass pieces
19 4x2 beige bricks                                                                     13 1x4 beige bricks
4 4x1 white fences                                                                      4 red petal wheels
4 4x2 light grey bricks                                                                73 1x2 light blue bricks
4 4x2 dark grey bricks                                                                19 1x2 printed tiles
4 4x2 brown bricks                                                                     52 clear 1x1 studs
37 1x2 brown palisade bricks                                                     120 1x1 light green sutds
19 1x2 light blue bricks.
14 1x1 trans red cones
1 black headlight brick
48 1x2 black railings
70 1x1 dark grey bricks
12 red petal wheels
39 1x2 printed tiles
48 1x2 light blue plates
1 1x2 light green jumper plate
166 1x1 trans red tiles
220 grass pieces
235 1x1 light green studs
So that is a total of 1357 bricks give or take. Pretty good haul if I do say so myself.
And that's what a few hundred grass pieces look like. My nutty brother spent an hour and a half doing this once I got home.
