Walther P-38
This was my first commission, my sister wanted it for something, and my first stab at a real gun. I think it turned out well and I had fun doing it which is more than I can say for most my builds. All in all it only took about 20 minutes.
It's smaller than real life but that was on purpose. My sisters request.
Trigger guard and handgrip.
Exposed hammer. My least favourite part of the build.
And the barrel. Definite favourite part of the build it also took me the longest.
Yeah, that's true. Undoubtedly the most generic guns ever would be bolt action rifles though. I can identify some, but just by the country not the exact model sometimes.
Not bad, especially for 20 minutes. It definitely looks like a P38.
ReplyDeleteI think it helps that the P-38 is a pretty iconic and unique gun. Any other pistols I try always end up looking generic.

DeleteAnd easiest of all are the assault rifles. But don't get me started on all the M-4 look-a-likes.
DeleteOh yeah, that's annoying. AR somethingeruther whatever it's an M4.
