Forward Research Base.

Even though this looks simple it took me quite a while to do. It's a simple one man research pod used for forward observation of a potential colony.
It's set on posts in case of flash floods.

It has an opening door and full interior.

The back, those panels are ventilation for the computers.

It has a removable roof with radar dish.

From left to right, crate for supplies, gun, helmet and table.

From left to right, bed, computers, stove.

Patrol Car

This was made on request for a police station my younger brother built. Unfortunately it was too tall compared to the building. I'm not sure what I'll be doing with it. I think it looks good even though it was incredibly difficult to build a real world vehicle without adding sci-fi stuff on.

That black thing on the front is a heavy duty bumper/barricade destroyer.

I made it to hold two guys.

The perp being brought into custody.

Sand Troops

Another build I pulled out of the archives of my mind and revamped. I didn't put any major changes from the old one basically just small changes in the turret and front. This was a noticeable build for me when I first did it because it was my first vehicle to actually fit a minifig.
All the sand troops.

Wow! No sides! I had some grey window shutters I'd use to cover those sides but I seem to have misplaced them. As you can see the general construction of the vehicle appears to be mostly wood. And don't ask me who's in charge of that turret.

That grey piece on the front is one of those changes I was talking about. Those window shutters are the best and most iconic part of the vehicle in my opinion.

I made this after I finished the tank. It's my first try at a brick built motorcycle.

The guy riding it is only connected by holding onto the handlebar.

Invasion!!

Recon Log 05/06/2835: After receiving word two days ago of a Confederation raiding party, myself and Pfc Barnes were sent to recon.

Upon arrival we discovered that it was not a raiding party but an invasion force.

We were subsequently cut off and are now unable to return to base with this information.

Having only taken enough rations for one day we have now run out of supplies and will now attempt to make it back through the enemy lines. End Log.

This is one of my largest builds so I did not try to get any sort of backdrop set up.

The Confederation attack force moving across a river.

Underneath is a the generator for the suborbital anti-missile laser and a small cave. The crew for the laser is dead. This is also the first build where I cleaned up the sides. Underneath the shell of the build is a huge mess of bricks.

The controls aren't very impressive since the laser is mostly automated.

The laser itself. I'm particularly proud of this.

And to prove that the sides are completely finished...

Without figs. My original plan called for the mud road to wrap around the base of the hill and no water. I had to change my design when I discovered I did not have enough brown plates. Ah, the joys of not having enough bricks. Ever.

The landscaping is well done I think.

Pirate Ship

I built this to go with a pirate diorama my brother built. I'm still debating whether or not I'll put it up. I've built several pirate ships before that were similar to this but this is definitely the best.

The captain and the helmsman.

The lookout.

The captain's cabin has no door and only a bed inside.

Tried to do some gold trim.

6 guns. Wow.

And without figs. I like the captain's cabin area and the little prow. Maybe I should put on a completely out of proportion figurehead.

Scout Mech

This is an interesting build since I built it all from what was lying  on my floor. Let that sink in a minute and then guess what my room looks like. It was very hard because of my limitations on pieces but I think the end result is worthy enough.

Very light and unbalanced. It was incredibly hard to get the shaping around the cockpit right.

Whenever I build something that needs to hold a minifig I just pick a random one up off the floor. This guy was the lucky candidate.

The legs were the easiest part.

And the teeny little anti-personnel weapon.

Medieval Town

This is a novelty post since the build was actually done by my younger brother. It may be just because I'm always using all our bricks but he never seems to really buckle down and produce anything really epic. I think this is one of his best builds and I didn't help him with anything.

I was too lazy to try and get some sort of background for this huge thing so ignore the loose legos on the desk.

Farmer mucking out the sheep pen.

Guy chopping a tree.

Multiple little scenes of people doing their things.

The little blacksmiths shop.

Royal messenger and guy chopping wood.

Two guys putting some nondescript crop away.

Guy chopping down said nondescript crop.

That grey building is a large communal home. Beside it is the blacksmith's shop.

The town drunks.

The lord of the manor's house.
